The Drama Curriculum is mainly based around literature and responding to literature. This may be in the form of improvisation, character awareness, defining and exploring emotions, movement in character, symbolism through pictures or words and making meaning of story.

- Content relevance and integration (History, Maths, Health etc)
- Inferential meaning
- Hidden Subtext through dialogue or non verbal communication
- Descriptive language and building on language (think The Master, Roald Dahl.)
